Bus Passes & Schedules

BUS PASSES

Only registered riders are permitted to board the bus. Bus Passes will be made available in September at the student’s school once registered for bussing. A bus pass MUST be presented each time the student boards the school bus. Register here if you are a new student, or have had any changes to your address(es) during the current school year.
 
CONFIRM CORRECT BUSSING SCHEDULES. If your child is currently registered to ride the school bus, you will be sent a Schedule Confirmation email in the spring.  Confirm the schedule is correct, as instructed in the email, to maintain your bussing schedules for the upcoming school year.
 
A new bus pass will be issued for the upcoming school year in September.  Old bus passes will not be accepted in the new school year.
Each student must be registered for bussing in order to ride on a SD20 school bus. Each registered bus rider will be issued a bus pass in the form of a hard plastic card which is carried by the student. This pass must be presented each time the student boards and departs the school bus. Upon entering or leaving the school bus, the students tap their pass against a reader which logs the time, date, and GPS location of the scan.
 
The information is then securely transmitted to a password-protected website which School District administrators can access. This information is used both as a safety feature to track missing children in case of emergency, as well as to compile data to be used by the district to find efficiencies in our bus routes. Bus passes will be made available to students registered for transportation in September. There will be a $10 fee for the replacement of lost or damaged bus passes.

Individual Bussing Schedules will be emailed to all registered riders prior to school start up.  Please watch for them in your email.

 

New bus passes will be available to all registered riders at their school.  Old bus passes are expired and can not be accepted.

*** LATE REGISTRATIONS: Please be patient. Late registrations will be processed as quickly as possible. Due to high work volumes from late August to Early October, please ANTICIPATE DELAYS FOR PROCESSING late registrations.
