Catchment Areas

WHAT ARE CATCHMENT AREAS?

A catchment area is the designated geographic zone from which students are eligible to attend a particular local school. These zones are determined by the Board of Education and typically include the school closest to a student's permanent residence. Catchment areas help schools manage enrollment and ensure they have adequate capacity for local students.
