Bus Drivers
Bus drivers are required to have a valid Class 2 driver's license including air endorsement. Mountain Transport Institute (MTI) Ltd. in Castlegar will provide you with the necessary training to obtain this licensing. For more information:
Clerical
Clerical are required to have an Office Administration diploma or equivalent combination of recent training, education, and experience. There are many online and local post-secondary options. Click to view the following programs:

Indigenous Support Worker (ISW)
Indigenous ancestry is required.

Teachers and Teachers Teaching on Call (TTOCs)
All teachers require a current BC Teacher Certification.
Qualifications will vary based on the position and are included in the job postings. Some examples are as follows:
- Specialty teacher positions such as counsellors and psychologists require a Master's degree in the appropriate discipline in addition to the BC Teacher Certification.
- Student support teacher positions are required to have a focus in their Bachelor of Education programs on special education or equivalent training that includes coursework in the following areas:
- students with special needs including Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD)
- assessment/testing theory and practice
- strategies for adapting and modifying the curriculum to meet the diverse needs of students
