Indigenous Inclusion Support Employee (IISE)

Indigenous ancestry is required.

Teachers and Teachers Teaching on Call (TTOCs)

All teachers require a current BC Teacher Certification.

Qualifications will vary based on the position and are included in the job postings. Some examples are as follows:

Specialty teacher positions such as counsellors and psychologists require a Master's degree in the appropriate discipline in addition to the BC Teacher Certification.
Student support teacher positions are required to have a focus in their Bachelor of Education programs on special education or equivalent training that includes coursework in the following areas:
- students with special needs including Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD)
- assessment/testing theory and practice
- strategies for adapting and modifying the curriculum to meet the diverse needs of students
